Moral of the Diablo 3 is as follows: Diablo, Mephisto and Baal are three evil lords set out across the sanctuary on an mission to suffocate humanity. The hero of the story Deckard Cain returns to the Tristram Cathedral searching for clues to defeat the evil.  A fiery harbinger then falls from the heaven on the place where the Diablo has arrived thus, rising more evils. Now the fire from the sky reawakens all ancient heaven warriors to defend the evil.

Diablo 3, is an action packed game designed in a slash and hack, and dungeon roaming style. It is the third game from the Blizzard’s diablo franchise. The Blizzard Entertainment announced its official release on June 28 2008 at the Worldwide Invitational in Paris.

The game takes place in a dark fantasy world a wild life Sanctuary. In Diablo 2 the world saved by unnamed heroes from two evil masters.  The same thing happens in Diablo 3, but this time the powerful villain of the story, Diablo returns. Those warriors who faced evil in Diablo 2 have gone mad, and this time it is up to new heroes to save the Sanctuary.

This game is similar to its previous version. It incorporates Havok physics engine and features some of the destructible environments.

Designers View

The designers of Diablo 3 aim to run it on wide range of systems, without prior installation of Direct X 10. The game will use a custom 3D graphics engine, to present a perfect 3D view to the player. This 3D view aims to provide complete secrets of the game, and reveal movements of enemies to its players in advance.

Features of Diablo 3

1. Players can explore the sanctuary by living and breathing in the reality environment.
2. Battle of the unholy forces includes all new characters like Witch Doctor, warriors from the past, powerful barbarians etc.
3. Players can target evils and crap them using the environment as weapon.  Players can use special weapons like cunning traps, turn objects into weapons, and create environmental obstacles.
4. This is a multiplayer game. Players can experience the feel of Multiplayer in an all-new environment.  The wickedly enhanced battlefield improves the performance of the players giving them a realistic feeling.
5. The game divided into two tabs: normal items and quest items. Normal items found in specific regions of the game, and quest items found throughout the game.

The game consists of four classes: Witch Doctor, Barbarian, The wizard, and the monk. Barbarian is the only class taken from the old version and included in the new one.  In the previous game, each player had to choose a single sex, but in the new game players have options to choose sex of their type.  All four classes announced have male and female characters.

Music of the game composed by Russell Brower, the basic theme of the game is about overture. Special orchestra used for composing the music.  The cinematic trailer of the game has a similar composition. Diablo 3 used the same theme just like the first game, but with few modifications.

Blizzard has set Diablo 3 release date is for 2011. It will be available in both PC and Xbox format. Players will be able to either single player storyline, or join the online multiplayer world. Online gameplay will be available via Battle.net.
