EverQuest II – released in 2004, is yet another fantasy game belonging to the genre of the Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG). The story of EverQuest II is based on the original EverQuest game. It happens in the Norrath. Each player can choose and build a character that can intermingle and interact with fellow characters of the game.

You can build resources to be used later; you can search, explore treasures, kill monsters and win arms in the course of the game – known as ‘trade skill system’. While choosing your character, you have to choose amongst different social classes and creeds – all specialized in their typical way. You can win special titles, houses, prestige and higher ranks by killing the epic monster or making guilds by interacting with the other social players in the game world. Initially it was player versus environment but later in 2006 player versus player features were added to the EverQuest II.

There are 19 races and 24 adventure classes and a player chooses one of it. Barber shop is really a great option as well as feature if you get bored with the overall look and features of your player; you can choose and change hair, facial features and look of your player at any time during the course of action. As a player you can reach up to 90 levels at maximum and can win 250 advancement points to buy and shop abilities.

It would be no exaggeration to say that EverQuest II is all about quests. Quests are at the core of the game, winning status and advancement. More than 700 quests have been completed by the player of EverQuest II since its making. As a player, the most immediate and critical concern that is needed to advance in the game is to acquire and retain the arms and ammunition. Players on dying resume life from a former stage of the combat undergoing a slight loss of power. This does not cost you but after 10 consecutive deaths your player cannot be repaired to cent percent without having to pay.

Dressing room provides a unique experience to the players to see how they would look if they wear the dresses and arms that does not belong to their class and status. Depending on the power of the monster that you have to fight, players can make groups of up to 6 or raids of up to 24 members because epic monsters can only be handled when fought against in such bigger group force. Integrated voice chat facilitates the interaction within the players. EverQuest II offers a strong guild support. Houses of the players have unique furniture and the other belongings.

EverQuest II differs from the original game as it lacks the planes, moon and the gods. The houses too are smaller in size now. The names of the cities and the five tutorial areas that the player can land in are very interesting. EverQuest II is really fantastic for it huge variety of geographical as well as ecological diversity.
