BioWare has been trying utmost to get Mass Effect off the ground by any chance by so far but was not able to cope up with the ever increasing demand of quality games into the world of gaming. Mass Effect 2: Overload can be considered to be a major move towards the revival and there are expectations that this game will bring the lost pride of Mass Effect back to BioWare. The Overload mission seems to be the best one that the franchise has seen by far. Overload does not, however has a nice rating online but don’t let this thing drive you as the game has serious improvements that most people do not know of.

The game begins and moves on in the same way as any other standard add-on installed over the main installation getting new campaigns and missions on the galaxy maps. You need to track down the rogue VI that is turning down everything that comes its way with the help of Geth. The Sheppard’s Crew has to deal with the situation while everyone has lost hopes by failing one after one.

The game gets you a vibrant experience compared to all the series that the franchise has been authoring by now in terms of both audio and video quality. There hasn’t been any shortcut noticed in the game play that makes it come at the top of the whole franchise and does make a lot of difference to the game play. Overload gives you a number of beautiful and attractive environments to explore while the audio gives a haunting taste to you.

The enhanced feature have made a lot of difference actually and the bit of combat that has been added as well as the excellent dialogues that have been integrated into the original franchise does give you an excellent experience. The lately introduced vehicle, Hammerhead, is also worth mentioning. This vehicle has taken the place of Mako that was being used in the previous versions and has a lot of features that fascinate a game player. The game has been developed keeping in sight all the limitations that were present in the previous releases from the same franchise that will certainly revive the complete series.

The overall plot of the game was tremendous from the very beginning but the developers were not able to make it to the heights expected by the game. The game play of Overload has set high expectations in the audience and this game is worth a tryout now.

Mass Effect 2: Overload is an excellent gaming experience for all those who love this genre  of games. The only drawback that lies within this game is that it is short of the arcade and seems to end up pretty fast. The combination of some very high definition visuals and high quality audio make is an excellent game to play.
